Education and libraries are referred to as two sides of the same coin. They are integratedly linked, as education without libraries and libraries without education are both paralyzed. Libraries are thought to be a vast sea of information that has accumulated over time as a result of scholarly output. Text books, research papers, research reports, edited books, research theses or dissertations, and so on are examples of scholarly outputs. They not only preserve scholarly content, but also pass it to future generations.

Keeping in mind the multifaceted importance of libraries in the advancement of higher education and research this college has been consistently enhancing library so that informational resources available in any format can be properly utilized. Library of Shri Vaishnav College of Arts & Commerce contains wide range of books and publications around 18516 books, 17000 eBooks, 10000+ online journals,10 national journals, 36 encyclopedias, 117 dictionaries, 209+ theses, dissertations & projects 240+CDs, etc. that caters to the needs of students, faculty members and research scholars.

The library is such a spot where a scholar finds rich information on his specific area of interest so here in SVCAC we have fairly a good collection of Commerce, Indian Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, History, Mass Media, Research Related Books, Biographies and Reference Books. Library holds a range of information services – circulation, reference, reprography, current awareness and internet services to support the professional growth, encourage the process of teaching learning and to achieve the objective of quality in higher education. Library of SVCAC is very economical people who cannot afford to buy new books and can simply borrow books from here.
